Printing FAQ
New to 3D printing? Here's everything you need to know before placing your order.
Infill is the internal structure that fills the inside of your 3D print. Think of it like the honeycomb inside a chocolate bar — the pattern and density determine how strong and heavy the part is.
- 10–20% Light — Decorative items, figurines, or display models.
- 30–50% Standard — Good balance for everyday functional parts.
- 60–80% Strong — Parts under mechanical stress.
- 100% Solid — Maximum strength for tools and inserts.
The layer height is how thick each printed layer is.
- Draft (0.3 mm) — Fastest and most affordable.
- Standard (0.2 mm) — Good surface quality at reasonable cost.
- Fine (0.1 mm) — Smoothest, best for detailed models.
- PLA Most Popular — Bio-based, easy to print, great for prototypes.
- PETG — Tough and moisture-resistant, good for mechanical parts.
- ABS — Heat-tolerant up to ~100°C, good for enclosures and tools.
- Resin Finest Detail — Ultra-smooth surfaces for jewellery and miniatures.
